GKN pitch document

An outline document for an event. Images chosen to

Alive creds/thanks booklet

My client something that he could give as a thank you to his existing clients which could also be used as a promotional item in the future. He wanted something conversational.
He also knew what he didn't want... he didn't want pics of events, or anything corporate, or logos, or the 'our brief was this, so we did that' approach.
All the six case studies in this A5 booklet contain stories told by Lud and feedback from each of the clients invlolved. We're rather pleased with it!

BT pitch

Squares again. Even the document, designed to look more like a brochure, is twice as high as it is wide; i.e 2 squares.

Bertelsman pitch

This was an A3 document designed and created to explain to the client the timeline of a 9 minute film. I constructed a grid with an orange line at the top which showed the timeframe being outlined in the image at the centre. Text in columns at either side further explained what was happening at that time; Music, Dance, Screen, Lighting. I understand it was a big success and a template that was used again.

London in Beijing pitch document

Keep it simple they said. So I did. A basic grid of 6x4 squares. I do like squares! Using JM fonts and colours.

Amex pitch documents

Selected pages from two A3 documents here; the top set are from the initial pitch and the bottom set are from the more detailed breakdown after the account had been secured.

Philips pitch

The guys at JM had come up with the idea that at this motivational event the delegates would all be adding to a painting to make one big image. So all I had to do was create a document which hinted at that idea but didn't give the idea away too quickly...

Disney pitch document

Coloured circles to please the eye, and simple typography to lead the eye, with the words in Impact for impact.
But the account went elsewhere...

MOD pitch document

We were all so disappointed that this pitch was rejected as we had really put a lot of work into it, confident that JM would get the job. Ah well. You usually can't beat a bit of Impact and Helvetica Neue.
